I've been busy this past year tackling all the Bootcamps School of Motion has to offer. I've done Character Animation, Animation and Design Bootcamps aside from taking other drawing classes with the amazing Nelson Faro DeCastro. It's been a busy busy year but I'm chuck full of knowledge and excited for my next chapter.
I was a Guest Speaker at my colleague and friend Julie Verardi's motion class for Illustrators at Parson's The New School.
I was nominated for a 2016 Promax BDA on the Art Direction/Design category for my work on the Centric Network ID for Mother's Day.
I teamed up with my friend Danny Gil to raise awareness about the US 2016 Election. Check out our work here.

"Animation takes time. A lot of time. We don’t just press a button and boom. done. Animation does not work like that at all. I wished that this was taken into account more often. But for some reason, it never is.”
I’m a designer and animator based in New York City. I am a proud graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC and I have over 8 years experience in the field of motion graphics. For about 4 years, I freelanced as part of Comedy Central’s On-Air Team. Most recently, I have been freelancing as a Broadcast Designer with BET Networks and while there, I’ve been working on a wide variety of projects on both BET and their sister network Centric. Some of my most notable work includes designing and animating a 2016 Promax BDA nominated promo spot on a Centric Network ID dedicated to mothers. I’ve also volunteered my animating skills for the Art Director’s Club 50/50 Initiative.
Aside from my work at BET and Comedy Central, I’ve designed and animated for other clients such as Shilo NYC, and the History Channel. I also volunteered my time as a guest motion graphics teacher at Parson’s and continue to develop my skills as a designer and animator by taking Bootcamp sessions with School of Motion.
To bring my creative vision alive, I use Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator for most of my work. I am also well versed in Cinema 4D. Besides the design programs, I can code in HTML and CSS and speak, read and write fluently in Spanish. I also love working in analog mode by building things from scratch and drawing.
Being a designer and animator is my passion. I love what I do for a living. I like the challenges and welcome opportunities to puzzle solve. I am well known for my tenacity to figure things out and meet the required deadlines. I learn quickly and I’m very used to working in a fast paced environment with very tight deadlines. I’m also able to manage working on more than one project at a time.
I've been a chronic doodler since birth. I was raised in Puerto Rico and in 1992, I moved to the USA. Barely able to speak a lick of English, today I'm very proud to say I finally know that the emphasis on the word focus is on the first syllable and the last part isn’t pronounced “use”.
Many years and many odd jobs later, I made my dreams come true when I triumphantly graduated in 2006 with my Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts and set out to conquer the world of graphics. I design the day away wielding my mighty tablet pen and won't rest until I've run out of my beloved Bustelo coffee (my sole core fuel source and secret behind all my graphics powers).
I live in blissful sin with my finacé and Latin Hugh Jackman look-alike 2015 contest winner Wilfredo Rodriguez, Jr. and our cute little Frenchton puppy Olivia Blue Cheese somewhere in Northern Jersey.
